Smoked salmon

  • 600 g / 12 thick slices of smoked salmon

Grilled caraway bread

  • 4 slices of good caraway bread (can be stale)

  • 100 g butter

Grilled lemons

  • 2 organic lemons

Cream stewed spinach

  • 50 g butter

  • 1 onion – finely chopped

  • 4 tbsp LINIE Aquavit Original

  • 500 g spinach – rinsed and drained

  • 5 dl cream 38%

  • 2 cloves of garlic – finely chopped

  • 1 organic lemon – both grated zest and juice

  • Salt and pepper


  • 1 bunch of dill – picked

Preparation steps

    Grilled caraway bread and lemons

    1. Turn on either a grill or grill pan and add a small dollop of butter.

    2. When the butter has melted, place the bread on the pan and keep an eye on it until it is well grilled on both sides and has crispy grill marks.

    3. When the bread is done, halve the two lemons and grill them on the same pan.

    Cream stewed spinach

    1. Melt some butter in a pan and add the chopped onions, frying until they are completely clear.

    2. When the onions are clear, add LINIE Aquavit Original to flambé them.

    3. It is important that the pan is hot and that the alcohol burns off completely before adding the spinach.

    4. Add the spinach and let it "fall together".

    5. Pour cream over the spinach and let the dish simmer for a few minutes until the cream has become thick and creamy.

    6. Season the dish with minced garlic, lemon zest and juice, and freshly ground salt and pepper to taste.


    1. Arrange the grilled bread and salmon slices on a plate and serve the creamed spinach on the side.

    2. Before serving, garnish with dill and grilled lemon.
