LINIE pickles

  • 300 ml vinegar

  • 250 g sugar

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 cauliflower — cut into small pieces

  • 2 carrots — cut into small cubes

  • 2 onions — cut into small cubes

  • 1 squash — cut into small cubes

  • 100 ml LINIE Aquavit Original

  • 1 sprig fresh thyme

  • 2 cloves of garlic — finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp curry

  • 1 tbsp turmeric

  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp coarse mustard

Preparation steps

    LINIE pickles

    1. Bring the vinegar to a boil with sugar and salt.

    2. Add the vegetables and bring it to a boil, then let it simmer for 10 minutes.

    3. Add the remaining ingredients and bring it to a boil again, before tasting.

    4. Transfer the mixture to preserving jars and refrigerate for a minimum of 24 hours, preferably longer.
